Outpatient coronary angioplasty in France: what lesions and impact on patient prognosis
Project summary
CONTEXT
Outpatient management of stable coronary artery disease is increasing over time of diagnosis and angioplasties. The idea of this work is on the one hand to take stock of the practice of outpatient stable angioplasty in terms of proportion and type of lesions.
Furthermore, the complexity of lesions eligible for outpatient treatment has always been discussed. We would like to compare after matching the prognosis of patients with “same day discharge” or not depending on the type of lesion, in the context of chronic coronary disease.
GOALS
Characteristics and incidence of outpatient care in France
Clinical prognosis of patients on Death, non-fatal MI, TVF
According to data: associate rehospitalization for unplanned revascularization
METHODOLOGY
Comparison of “ambulatory” vs. “non-ambulatory” group
Possible analysis of the different types of lesions: common core, calcified lesions, CTO, bifurcations, etc.
